The John A Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) has more than 1,200 clinical faculty, physicians all over the state (many of them alumni) who help teach medical students and MD residents in our affiliated community teaching hospitals and at their private practices. Over the summer, the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health (OB-GYN) invited its clinical faculty to the University of Hawai’i’s Kaka’ako campus to say “mahalo”.
