The University of Hawaii Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health remains dedicated to our mission during the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, we are taking precautions to minimize the risk of transmission by altering some of our day-to-day activities based on recommendations from the CDC, State of Hawaii DOH, and our professional organizations.  Our education efforts are continuing for our medical students and residents through distance learning.  We are minimizing resident exposure by implementing weekly shifts in the hospital so that the majority of residents may remain at home.  And patient care in our offices is continuing for patients with urgent needs.  For more information, the following links will provide up to date data and recommendations regarding the pandemic.
